E-Det. - A Call to Arms

When I started Exposure, I wasn't sure that I'd even complete it, let alone write a trilogy! And now, here we are, with a new series beginning.
A Call to Arms follows on from the Depth Trilogy and is set a couple of years after it finished. I don’t want to give away too much – as a reader, I hate spoilers! But what I will say is that, if you like Depth, you’ll find yourself right at home with E-Det.
The tone is a little different in that there’s no Regular Army forces involved. However, Special Forces gets all the usual treatment.
E-Det, as the blurb says, is a secret organisation working out of Hereford. It’s based on a real section within 22 SAS which you’ll never hear of (and I might get in trouble for mentioning!) However, my E-Det has been expanded from the real one and has a much wider mission than they do, so hopefully, I’ve added enough fiction to get away with it.
A Call to Arms is the first in what I intend to be a long-running series. When you read it, you'll notice that there are a number of threads in the story that are left untied. This is not me being unobservant but rather a taster for the future books.
The release will be Spring/Summer 2017 and I hope to follow soon afterwards with the second in the series.
Best

A note from the Author:
E-Det
A Call to Arms
Kavan Miller is dead – or at least that’s the official line.
In fact, he’s alive and well, earning a fortune as a mercenary to whichever under-world organisation will pay him the most. He’s happy in his work and even happier that his former employer – the CIA – thinks he no longer exists.
Amy Parker is a junior analyst at MI6. Unlike Miller, she’s not at all happy: she’s bored. In the three years that she's worked for the SIS, the most exciting thing to happen is the mountain of extra work that accompanies every new conflict or terrorist attack. She yearns to be out in the field but promotions are hard to come by and real action, it appears, happens elsewhere.
But when, in a twist of fate, their paths cross, everything changes - for both of them.
What neither of them could have imagined in just how different things were going to be…
Move over Reacher, Porter, Bourne and Bond, the world is ready for a new breed of heroes…
Forged in the fires of the SAS, Delta Force and MI6, E-Det is a secret organisation of men and women working together to bring down the hidden forces raging war against us.
From terrorists, to black-marketers, to the corruption that riddles the most powerful governments of the world. They are an elite group, specially selected for their ability to think outside the box and operate on the edge of the law – and get away with it.
